After graduating from the University of Glasgow in 2021, Sally began her career in mixed animal practice. Having always had a strong interest in aquatic medicine, she later pursued a career in this field to become a fish vet.
Sally joined Aquatic Vets Ltd in June 2025 and enjoys the variety her role provides. Her work spans aquaculture, public aquaria, named veterinary work, and veterinary consultancy, enabling her to contribute across multiple areas of aquatic animal health and welfare.
She is particularly keen to support students and veterinary colleagues who are interested in pursuing careers in aquatic medicine, recognising that entering the field can be challenging and valuing the importance of sharing guidance and experience with those considering this career path.
Sally is delighted to be part of this year’s committee and looks forward to contributing in her role as Junior Vice President.
